Dive Equipment
Quality diving equipment is essential for anyone interested
in entering the world of the aquatic. For most beginners, much of this
equipment can be easily rented from a local dive shop. However, most
experts recommend purchasing your own mask, snorkel and fins, at the
very least.
While snorkeling is how most beginner’s start out, additional
diving equipment is necessary for extended underwater exploration. The
most important items are oxygen tanks and a regulator. Without these
items, scuba diving would be next to impossible.
Wetsuits are also important pieces of diving equipment. These items
help maintain a healthy body temperature while exploring underwater,
where it is often much colder than on the surface. For extremely cold
water, dry suits are often recommended.
